Prologue
This is my VERY first actual post so I am very excited! Here are my thoughts on the Prolouge:
I absolutely love the prolouge. It definitely made me want to keep reading. The prolouge introduces readers to Clarence, Emry, Joris and 6-year-old Bran [Those aren't the only characters, just the most important ones]. In the begining, Clarence is running from two black vans. I love how Kaleb described his pursuit. "his heart pounding in rythym with his feet slapping against the pavement." I really liked that line, and that section of the prologue because I could picture what was going on so well as if I were watching it on a movie screen. But aside from Clarence, when the story turns to Emry, that's where I really started to feel alot of emotion. When the woman shot Emry, Kaleb described the moment so well. This part was also very vivid for me. I loved it. And this is just a hunch, but I have a feeling that the little girl who saw everything is going to meet up with Bran later on. I may be wrong but if she doesn't meet Bran or have something to do with the story, then it was pretty random to put it in there lol. But ANYWAY, thanks so much for reading guys! I'll be posting Chapter 1 soon :]
